Session 5-6 “ The Smog Clock Artifact”

After signing contracts with Director Argos, Aalik, Lucas and Arwel (along with the ever fashionable Estel) form the team number 33 and are given their first task.  

Full Summary

After signing contracts with Director Argos, Aalik, Lucas and Arwel meet their 4rth team member, Estell Kingsea, a glamour bard. Now with a complete team they are assigned the number 33 and are given their first task which is to retrieve a pocket watch found in a tomb.   Upon arrival at the mausoleum located in Sector 9 the group quickly descend into the crypts after avoiding all of the nightguards with the help of an unknown grave robber. Now down in the main room of the crypts, Lucas and Arwel are attacked by zombies and although they do manage to fend them off on their own it would have been easier if aided by Aalik and Estell who were looking for the pocket watch further down the crypt.   With the zombie conflict resolved they peacefully rummaged around the graves and Estell spots an odd teddy bear containing the soul of an 8 year old called Baker Davies whom Estel agrees to take him with them so that they can find his grandma, furthermore the group deduced that the tomb was ransacked recently as they find some of the tombs have already been cleaned out. With some more digging around, Aalik finds a broken sewage drain from which smoke is quickly pouring out and venturing ahead he finds the clock resting upon the corpse of a grave robber who came before him.   Once the clock is retrieved Aalik feels a terrifying presence that has located him from deeper into the cave he now finds himself in, a pair of white eyes meet his gaze and makes the tiefling run in the other direction but still with pocket watch in hand and thus team 33 can call this first mission a success!!   Except for Lucas's wallet that was stolen by the grave robber
