Session 10-11 “Into the Necropolis”

After receiving news from the sanctuary branch of further developments towards the creature they found down in the Davies family crypt, the new team 33 is instructed to help with the investigation.

  After receiving news from the sanctuary branch of further developments towards the creature they found down in the Davies family crypt, the group is instructed to help the investigation and find out more. Upon arriving to the crypt the group are given a warning that: If one is left behind it is better to save yourself as this is a highly dangerous mission. The group form even smaller groups of two except for Arwel who refuses to be accompanied by someone other that his pet wolf familiar. and thus Aalik and Estel descend down one way, Zay and Lucas down another and lastly Arwel accompanied by his shadow wolf down the last path.   Down in the caves the group discover that they are now walking in the lair of a colossus, big and powerful creatures said to control huge amounts of power each as per the descriptions in a mural and now they find themselves walking in the lair of The Scavenger, a quite literally rotten creature who who has a history of gifting humanoids pieces of their power turning them into flesh eating monsters-humanoids-Hybrid things.   As if like an ant colony sensing a foreignn object, the hybrids begin to scout the lair for the intrudders where as they find Lucas and Zay they begin to screech seemingly triggering an alarm that sends the hybrids into a rage forcing the team to rush towards the exit to avoid certain death.   As the group turns to leave as things are getting dire they all find a way out except for Arwel who after his wolf  knocked unconcious and is taken from him decides to ignore THE ONE WARNING given to them and ventures deeper into the lair of the scavenger searching for his familiar.   Meanwhile as he attempts to escape, Aalik falls down a tunnel that sends him flying towards a subterranean lake where he finds a skeleton holding a suspicious looking ipad that after picking up seems to react and demands an identification in order to unlock the eeeevil ipad.     As Arwel locates where they are taking the bodies and his wolf he decides the best course of action is to attack but as the scouts quickly overwhelm Arwel, the group now in safety up above can do nothing but watch as their party member is dragged in front of the Scavenger colossus where he gives in to the madness it holds and becomes another drone for the colony as his heartbeat ceases to be.
