Dwarf
Dwarves are a short, stocky, medium-sized race. They possess physical qualities midway between those of humans and gnomes. While dwarven people are ubiquitous in the lands of Utania, they are inclined to mountain and underground living. Most dwarven cultures on Utania value law, community, heirarchy, and social order, but individual preferences vary. Dwarves age about as third as fast as humans, typically living up to 250 years.
Dwarves are no less magically gifted than humans. Their magical traditions tend to be rooted more in the physical world, and they have a long history with alchemy, artifice magic, and refining magical materials.
