Closed Eye
The Closed Eye is a strange cult of diviners and their followers who claim to worship all gods in equal measure. They believe that each god possesses secrets not meant for mortals who aren't initiated into the cult's mysteries. Members of the cult are mostly nomadic, searching far and wide for scraps of divine knowledge. When they discover such knowledge, they record it for themselves and shroud it from the rest of the world.
The cult meets on occassion in small groups to exchange secrets and aggregate the knowledge they have aquired.
As many of the senior members are wizards, they will often study spells that help them in their tasks. Flames spells help to quickly burn books, and earth spells can erase inscriptions in stone. Spells like invisibility help them to sneak into guarded libraries.
While believed to be harmless, it is not widely known that the group is organized around the defense of a particular secret they would each die (or kill) to protect. Generally, though, at their worst they are seen as no more than a passing nuisance, stealing books and defacing ruins.
