Cerulite is mined from the Cerulean Peaks in Vinterhaven and is a sky-blue crystalline mineral. It is used in the forging of Cerulean Steel and the casting of frost spells.

Cerulite is a rare mineral found deep beneath high-altitude mountains, typically embedded in crystalline veins alongside brittle rock formations. The “Azure Road” in Vinterhaven’s Cerulean Peaks is a treacherous mountain trade route and the primary means of transporting Cerulite. Only expert climbers and cold-weather caravans can navigate the road, often aided by wind-cutting dirigibles for particularly inaccessible deposits. Mining requires specialized tools imbued with fire magic to prevent the mineral from shattering in the cold.

Blacksmiths, armorers, and artificers value Cerulite as a critical ingredient in forging Cerulean Steel, a metal renowned for its resilience and light weight. Warriors and knights prize weapons and armor made from this alloy, particularly for combat in cold climates, as Cerulean Steel maintains its durability and sharpness even in subzero temperatures.
