Halfling
The culture of Glimmerbay as well as a few other locations where The small folk found refuge in the Fey age, each group putting a unique spin on it, though much of it remains even for those who joined other cultures, even being adopted by those who move in.
Naming Traditions
Family names
Halfling names are long with their family names depicting the Halflings history. Normally owning three separate family names the first is the tribe name, detailing which large group of halflings they came from, second was the clan name which said the lesser clan within the tribe, the last was the exact house within the clan. The main house normally had the same last two family names, unless that line had died out.
In casual setting a Halfling would normally use their clan name, reserving the full name for close family and official situations.

Culture and cultural heritage
Community events and shared joy is a major part of the culture, with many events being large affairs for the whole tribe at a minimum. At such events t normal for it to be open invitations with complete strangers able to wonder in and join the festivities, so long as they behave. At such celebrations it is common for people to eat and drink plenty.
While peaceful and generous, Halflings will defend themselves and others of their community with almost zealous fervour.
Shared customary codes and values
One should never take more then they require, unless it's a party, and should never damage either the community or the natural world. It is also Customary to always take a gift if knowingly going to someone's house or party.
Common Dress code
Simple clothing of a shirt and trousers, or a simple dress, with a waistcoat, these are often made from the available material in the area.
They few Halfling adventures known about tend to prefer light armour as well as 'tool' weapons like bows, spears, and sickles. Oh and Frying pans.
Art & Architecture
Halfling settlements are built around the natural world, with natural features often being incorporated into the village or even buildings.
Common Taboos
Greed is seen as the ultimate sin, with those who horde or only take but never give seen as harmful to both the community and world.
Ideals
Courtship Ideals
Courtship is a lengthy process with the various steps. Once both parties agree to court they would go to several events together indicating their intention to the community of there intention. After a period of time they can start going on more private dates before finally marrying and moving in together.
