The gods and goddesses

The Dawn of Umbrana

In the ethereal realm of Umbrana, the first era was marked by the celestial tapestry woven by its divine architects. This era, steeped in myth and majesty, bore witness to the creation of a world unlike any other. The stage was set by five of the six Ancient Gods, each a master of their domain.

Tungan-Tan, God of the Earth

Tungan-Tan, with his immeasurable strength, sculpted the endless planes of Umbrana. His hands carved the mountains and valleys, giving form to the world's terrain. Under his guidance, the earth blossomed with a rugged beauty, robust and enduring.

Aqsinä, Goddess of Water

Aqsinä, the serene and flowing, brought forth the oceans and seas. Her touch was gentle yet profound, as the waters she summoned quenched the earth's thirst. Her oceans became the cradle of life, mysterious and teeming with unseen wonders.

Luceria, Goddess of Light

Luceria, the radiant beacon of Umbrana, graces the realm with perpetual luminescence. Her divine essence, akin to a sun, bathes the world in a soft, ever-present glow. This constant illumination nurtures life and guides the inhabitants through time.

Awïlïn, God of Air

Awïlïn breathed life into the skies of Umbrana, filling them with air. His whispers turned into winds, his sighs into storms. His domain was ever-changing, as ephemeral as the clouds that danced in his realm.

Quralay, God of Life

Quralay's touch sparked the genesis of diverse lifeforms. His creativity knew no bounds, as he imbued Umbrana with a plethora of creatures, each unique in its existence. Among them were the intelligent and enigmatic Snow Goblins, embodiments of Quralay's ingenuity.

The Second Generation Deities of Umbrana

The Ancient Gods of Umbrana, in their divine interplay, gave birth to a new generation of deities. Each of these younger gods inherited aspects of their parents and gave birth to the next generation. Creating long lineages that last to this day.

The Snow Goblins: Umbrana's First Inhabitants

These goblinoids, distinguished by their large ears, lengthy tails, pale greyish skin, bright blue eyes, and silver hair, thrived under the gods' patronage. They shared a world where gods walked among them, a paradise of unparalleled harmony.

Umbra's Descent into Darkness

However, the tapestry of Umbrana was incomplete without the sixth Ancient Goddess, Umbra, the embodiment of darkness. Shrouded in her own solitude, Umbra unleashed a malevolent force named after herself. The Umbra creatures, dark and vicious, began a campaign of terror, targeting both gods and mortals alike.

The Celestial War and Luceria's Sacrifice

This onslaught led to the great Celestial War, a conflict that tore the fabric of Umbrana. The war reached its zenith with Luceria's heart-wrenching sacrifice. Her demise imprisoned Umbra but condemned Umbrana to an eternal night. In her death, Luceria became more than a deity; she transformed into a beacon of hope.

The Aftermath: The Lucerian Ocean and Stones

The impact of Luceria's fall created a crater as vast as our own planet layed flat. This colossal depression birthed the Lucerian Ocean, its heart cradling the Lucerian stones the remnants of Luceria. These remnants emit a soft, comforting light, a glimmer of hope in a world veiled in darkness.

Reflections

The first era of Umbrana stands as a testament to the power of creation and sacrifice. The Ancient Gods, with their diverse powers, shaped a world of wonder and complexity. The legacy of Luceria, in her ultimate act of selflessness, continues to light the path for all of Umbrana's inhabitants. The tale of these deities is not just a story of creation but a saga of resilience, hope, and the indomitable spirit of a world that thrives in perpetual twilight.
