Guard Colonel
The Guard Colonel is the officer appointed to lead the Colonial Guard. They are outside of the Colonial Armed Services chain of command, and report directly to the Colonial Commissioner who appoints them.
The Guard Colonel is charged with the security of the Commissioner, and also is the chief of intelligence in the Colonial Administration. As such spend much of their time reading reports and organizing anti-insurgent raids and schemes. It is said that the Colonel is the most powerful person in the Colonies, as they have information on all the big players from governmental to corporate officers.
