Foundation of Nörn

Founding

Nörn is one of the most respected ancient kingdoms of Ultor. In our world, it exerts massive influence through its control of the major enclaves, and its foundation is celebrated around the world.

Little is known about who founded Nörn or how it was established. It seemed to spontaneously arise out of the frozen wastes of Kolburra. The first known king of Nörn is posited to be Albar Coldseer. The scant legendary evidence for this king's existence can be corroborated with ancient stonework and coinage from around the purported time of his rule. Whoever this king actually was, he managed to connect the small and separate tribes north of the White Wastes and establish a functioning kingdom that could defend and sustain itself, small though it was.
