In 830 AC, the Southern Draconic Empire was thrown into a short and violent war against a demonic invasion which resulted in the death of Umbor the Sun and changed the relationships between the lords forever.

In the early 9th century, a daemon called Vul Ganeid silently began to poison the minds of the lizardfolk of the Cape Forest. When they had been sufficiently conditioned, hell broke loose in Southwest Galzhür as the daemonic forces slaughtered the initial force sent to stop them and then stormed northward onto the Unbadd Greenlands. Only after massive destruction and sacrifice was Vul Ganeid driven back into the Abyss from whence he came.
