In the dead of night on the 21st day of Nightal, in the year 1114, a terrible daemonic invasion was prevented at castle Kamien, but the cost was high...

On this fateful night a monstrosity of the demon lord Dagon found its way through the great rift and slipped, unnoticed into the sea between the fortresses of the ring. Of course, the planners of the Ring had prepared for such a thing, but when the monster slammed itself into the foundation of castle Kamien, the force of the blow was unexpectedly high. The creature -- a kraken of some sort, as it turns out -- destroyed the bridge linking Kamien to Sciana. Zamek, the farther away of the two, could not respond to the crisis unfolding at Kamien before the myriad of demons and lesser creatures following the great beast swept over the defenders.
