Foundation of Gorgogi

Founding

Easily the most integrated with the world, Gorgogi has one of the most important ports in Ultor for trade with Galzhür (and piracy). It is the most communicated with of the Northern Human Realms, but is still considered to be a kingdom in its infancy.

Gorgogi, like the rest of the Northern Human Realms, was born of violence. Deep divisions still run through Gorgog society, separating the ethnic Gorgog ruling class from the other major ethnicities that their ancestors subjugated long ago. The rampant enslavement of Gorgog citizens primarily targets these non-Gorgog ethnicities (a disgusting practice meant to keep the non-rulers in their place). The scars left by the "Purification" of Gorgogi are still visible to this day, and the nation is one of the most dangerous kingdoms to travel in. These days Gorgogi mostly exports its raw materials to the rest of Ultor and uses the proceeds to attempt to slaughter their neighbors.
