Gosteye

  Gosteye are thought to be the descendants of creatures created by The Ancients to serve as neer perfect land scouts. Though they have lost many of there adaptations over the thousands of years since their creation they still retain many different species borrowed from a number of animals.

Racial Features

Nights Watch

You are accustomed to keeping watch during the darkness of the night. You have an advantage on any perception checks made to detect threats at night.  

Fleeting Visions

From time to time you catch a glimpse of the world and all its secrets. Upon rolling a natural 20 on a perception or investigation check you are granted 120ft of true sight for that check. This will only work on things you have not already checked during the last 24 hours.  

Keen Senses

Your sense of smell ad hearing is beyond that of a normal humanoid. You have advantage on perception checks that rely on smell or hearing.  

Ancient Heritage

You like all of your race are born with the power of your ancestors. Upon character creation pick one of the following racial traits:

Ursine Heritage

The spirit of the bear runs through you. You are able to pick up sents up to a kilometre away.
Once Awakend
You gain +1 Constitution and a pair of claws. These claws replace your standard unarmed attack with a 1d6+1+Str Slashing attack. Your claws are also counted as magical weapons for the purpose of overcoming magical resistances.  

Lupine Heritage

The spirit of the wolf runs through you. You are to produce a howl that travels for a kilometre in all directions that can be used amongst other things to help allies locate your position.
Once Awakened
You gain +1 Intelligence and Pack Tactics.  

Aquiline Heritage

The spirit of the Eagle flyes through you. You can move an extra 5ft. than others of your kin.
Once Awaked
You gain +1 Charisma, 240ft. of clear vision and advantage on all perception checks that rely on sight.  

Strigine Heritage

The spirit of the Owl flyes through you. Your darkvison is increased to 80ft. and you gain proficiency with stealth.
Once Awakened
You gain +1 Wisdom and 120ft. of full-colour darkvison. In addition, you may may produce frightening a screech that you can direct at a target within 120ft. of you as a standard action. This screech prompts a dc 15 wisdom save with the target taking disadvantage on their next action or saving throw on a failed save.

Racial Feats

You may pick any one of the following racial feats in place of an ordinary feat upon reaching the appropriate level.

 

Awakened Heritage

Requires a level 5 or higher character
You have awakened the beast within your ancient bloodline, granting the effects listed under its entry in the Ancient Heritage section.
