++S Moonbird

A strange creature, more reminiscent of a creature of the sea that has traded the water to swim the skies than any sort of bird. Its pale body sails softly through the nighttime air as it is illuminated by its own bioluminescent light.   The presence of a Moonbird has been linked to an increase in the powers of local psychic presences. Captive specimens have even been able to learn a small number of psychic powers after rigorous training.   During the colder months of the year, they will often try to make their way into people's homes. In these case, it will attempt a very mild psychic perception filter to make it much harder to be discovered.   The largest moon birds have been known to reach the sizes of small boats. But being very docial creatures that feed mostly on large amounts of insects, they are very little cause for concern.
