Despite the rampant rule of tyrannical leaders, a group of particularly inventive folks managed to start the creation of a new city within a strip of unclaimed land, now known as Talimo. After 10 years of building, the city of Thorcester City was created. This city managed to shield itself from the other tyrants that tried to claim the city for themselves, using their technologies and magics to the highest degree. It still stands to this day.

FoundingStarting in the year 15, a group of 300 dwarves found a large mountain in what is now known as the country of Valesco. They spent 6 years digging down and into the mountain. Eventually in 21, the settlement in the mountain was built and the mountain was named Mt. Slatestone.

Life, BirthA young boy simply named Erholt was born. He was supposedly to live his life as a farm boy forever, but sooner or later, his fate would change the land.

Erholt's First Tragedy
Life, DeathErholt's mother eventually fell gravely ill. She was quarantined, but the poor conditions and lack of competent healers eventually costed her life. She was only 32.

RevolutionThe young farming man, now known as Erholt the Righteous, held his first rally in his home village. He called all of his townsfolks to arms. He had enough of the unrelenting tyranny of the kings and knew that action needed to be taken. "We have been living under the iron fist of the kings for far too long now! At dawn, we shall take up arms and march to the king's keep. We shall fight back their forces. All shall be done for the righteousness."
First Crusade

A young man, now known as Erholt the Righteous, rallied everyone to begin a crusade across Darnolia. Tyrant armies tried to fight back this crusade, but they ultimately failed. The last king was overthrown and Erholt was made a saint.

The Final Strike
Military actionThe final castle of the last remaining tyrant has been invaded by Erholt's massive army. The king's men tried to push back the warriors as much as they could, but their fate of defeat had been sealed. The last tyrant was defeated and eventually executed. Darnolia was free.
Erlanism's Establishment

Shortly after Erholt's death, a new religion was established. This religion would be known as Erlanism and it would soon become the primary religion of the majority of the continent. It took around 4 years to fully set up the religion and eventually, the religious capital of Diolamus was established in Cordomo.

FoundingAfter Erholt died, many of his followers began to create and form a brand new religion. Ever since the establishment of the Erlanist Church, Darnolia started to become a continent of prospering life. No longer were people living under the iron fists of tyrants. All the national leaders of the continent have been making sure that order and peace are kept.

FoundingAfter many years of rebuilding the war-torn continent, all of the countries had finally be fully remade. The leaders of said countries would be the decendents of the generals that fought alongside Erholt. Certain non-human races requested to live in relative solitude, which they did.

A New Rising

Self-Excommunication
Religious eventThree top clergymen, after having some major doubts of the church, secretly broke off from the main sect. They did not think that the current church truly was reflecting the goals of Lord Erholt. Over the course of around a century, they established the Newly Righteous and began to hold sermons and the occasional raid.

Order of Berninburg
FoundingWithin the country of Kranevier, a knight by the name of Sir Alexander Berninburg formed up a union of paladins and knights. They would go around the lands to ensure that justice remained and corruption was kept at bay. After his death in the year 401, Sir Alexander Berninburg II took up the mantle as the head paladin of the group. Several years later, they would discover a peculiar specimen that would eventually become one of their greatest allies.

ExpeditionIn Western Darnolia, an adventuring party begins their journey of preventing a possibly foreseen Second Crusade. In Southern Darnolia, in Valesco, another adventuring party also begins their journey of acquiring a set of special artifacts in an attempt to fight back whatever the Newly Righteous plan to do.

Around a century an a half after Tempi Moderni, Thorcester City's many technological projects branched out of the city and into the rest of the world. They were no longer keeping their secrets within city walls. Years went by and almost all of the major towns and cities have made major adaptations to the new era of machinery and energy.

Era beginning/endThorcester City, over the past decades, has been advancing their technological prowess. During a particular project that focused on energy production, some of the top artificers, wizards, and intellectuals made a major breakthrough with power production. This new form of magical technology had its occurrence be spread across the continent, thus forming a brand new era. Technological growth was at its greatest between 554 and 562.

Political eventIn the year 570, a hobgoblin warlord by the name of Krugov Khan rose to power and took leadership of the northern land of Gruumsh's Hook. He gathered a massive army of both orcs and hobgoblins, promising them to take over Nordinia and eventually the entire continent. A new power is now present in the battle for Nordinia.
