Ild

Ild is assumed to predate the current conception of the multiverse, as he and his brother Ikthun were present at the moment the Tide solidified into Vayren. As the god of fire and light, Ild is also thought of as the force behind the sun.

The First Plane War

Ild and Ikthun were late to the first two battles of the First Plane War, having previously been consumed in a sibling conflict over the dominions of the two and their borders. Ild led the charge into the third battle, the level of damage he dealt creating the plane Modspel and giving it its firey character. In the sixth battle, Ild took immense injuries as he covered for the retreat of the rest of the Gennunvasir, and created the plane of light, Stürt.

The Second Plane War

Ild rested for the majority of the Second Plane War, recovering from his wounds, and joined only two rows prior to the Great Cataclysm.

The Great Cataclysm

In the eighth battle of the war, on Vayren's request and plotting after something of a stalemate had occurred in the fighting, Ild was left once again to defend a retreating position, while Vayren and Ikthun pulled back, retreating through Stürt and looped behind Dornam, sundering his essence and body.

The Third Plane War

Ild, having great influence in Stürt and Modspel, was the primary controller of the expansion of the domain of the Gennunvasir as they rolled across the realms in the time between the wars. As the gods entered Modspel, Ild paused to tend to the realm, and Vayren pushed to about the center of the realm. At that point, the Lakkunvasir attacked while Ild was still on the back line, but Vayren and Ikthun managed to survive and retreated to Ild's position. Beyond the Gennunvasir's knowledge, Dornam had been acumulating power on top of his already-improved form, and the High Gods spread to conquer as Iberren retreated unannounced.

Dornam soon met them in his full power and then more, easily beating back each of the gods individually, until they were each in a place where they could be vanquished. In that time, the Gennunvasir sustained grave injuries each, but Vayren ended up the most wounded. Ild and Ikthun fled as Vayren manipulated the Tide to force Dornam to surpass his highest threshold for power, and caused it to erupt from him.
