Spirit & Soul - Cleric Domain

Guided by the ethereal whispers of Chergathar, the Soulwarden Clerics dedicate themselves to understanding the intricate dance of life and death, ensuring that every spirit's journey is honored and respected. These clerics serve as both shepherds of the living and guides for the departed, often bridging the gap between both realms. As protectors of the sanctity of life and the mystery of death, they play an essential role in the balance of existence. To be a Soulwarden is to believe in one of the deity's religions - Angshire Spirits, or Chergathar Faith.

Bonus Proficiencies

At 1st level, you gain proficiency with martial weapons and the Medicine skill.  

Guidance of the Spirit

At 1st level, you can use your action to touch a willing creature, granting them an ethereal shield. The next attack against them has disadvantage. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.  

Channel Divinity: Spirit's Embrace

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to shield a creature from harm. As a reaction, when a creature within 30 feet of you takes damage, you can use your Channel Divinity to reduce that damage by an amount equal to your cleric level + your Wisdom modifier.  

Spectral Step

Starting at 6th level, you can step into the spirit realm to briefly become intangible. As an action, you gain resistance to all damage except force damage and can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. This lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.  

Potent Spellcasting

At 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.  

Soul Shepherd

At 17th level, your connection to the spirit realm is so profound that you can guide souls back from the brink of death. As an action, you can touch a creature that has died within the last minute, restoring it to life with half its maximum hit points. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
