Clerics of the Verdant Domain channel the raw power of nature through their devotion to Shwazen, the Goddess of Flora & Fauna. Whether nestled deep within ancient groves or journeying through bustling cities, these clerics are a beacon of life and renewal. Their divine magic breathes life into withered plants, heals wounded animals, and shields allies from harm. Clerics of this domain must pledge allegiance to one of the deity's religions, be it Angshire Spirits, the Old Shwazen Ancestors, or the Shwazen Faith.

Channel Divinity: Nature's Blessing
At 2nd level, as an action, you can present your holy symbol to invoke the power of
Shwazen. Choose any number of creatures within 30 feet. For 1 minute, they have advantage on saving throws against spells and effects that would poison or disease them.
Channel Divinity: Blossom Burst
At 6th level, as an action, you can command a burst of blossoms to erupt from a point you can see within 60 feet. Each creature within a 20-foot radius must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, they are blinded until the end of their next turn. Those who save are not blinded.
Divine Strike
At 8th level, once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 radiant damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.
Guardian of the Grove
At 17th level, your bond with nature allows you to summon a protective grove around you. As an action, you can summon a 20-foot radius grove of protective plants and trees around yourself. The grove lasts for 10 minutes, providing half cover for allies (and yourself) and difficult terrain for enemies. Additionally, you and the allies in the grove have resistance to damage from spells.
This guardian feature can be used once, and you regain the ability to use it after a long rest.
