The Curved Emerald
The Curved Emerald is a wonder of Kalbela. Constructed over four decades, taking hundreds of thousands of laborers and stonemasons and aided by several druidic circles and practitioners of earthen arcana. This 70 foot tall, 15 foot thick green basalt, ovoid-shaped wall encircles the 15 mile footprint of Karackas, stopping only at the Turquoise Bay, making a horseshoe-like shape around the entire city. In the maw of this beast is The Black Gate, said to be impenetrable.
