Penelope
Gaunther is a symbiote bonded Trian woman who is a friend of Lonna Dopwaller and first met Davin and Bliqtaz when Lonna brought them to Medusa Mugs. She is a simply but stylishly dressed office worker at General Engines with a quick smile and a courteous disposition.
Penelope used to be an engineer at GE but was exposed to unprocessed symbiote biomass in a workplace accident. Months later she spontaneously and unintentionally altered the appearance of an broken device she was holding as she was pondering how to fix it. She discovered the bonded symbiote shortly thereafter and, in a move to protect herself from scrutiny and possible legal issues (or expensive mandatory medical excision procedures), requested a transfer to the bookkeeping wing of GE's operations in Synoro where staff are largely anonymous and she can more easily fade into the background.
Penelope seemed really swayed by Davin's ideas about changing public perception of bonded individuals and would like nothing more than to be accepted regardless of her bonded nature.
