Origins

On board a derelict leisure station in low Trian orbit, the Euso Embassy discovered that their garden habitat was merely a small piece of a much larger world. Exploring beyond the green spaces into the mostly lifeless hull of the station, they slowly learned more about its former inhabitants and the large orb that floats outside the windows that they came to know as Tria.   Theo, a human entrepreneur hailing from the mining vessel New Memphis arrived in Tria Djono and began making his way towards Newbury, seeking travel to the human settlements on the Western Continent and hoping to find a market for his novel robotic creations. Stuck in the queue for passage to the Human Exclave, Theo found a place in the city to set up show and continued tinkering on his finest mechanical companion, ForWhom.   Gifted with new otherworldly powers during his research in the Sibran outposts, the Feln scholar Terrence was given a mission of espionage in Tria Djono, a task of seemingly utmost importance to Sibran's Regional Secretary Trass. Terrance managed to sneak aboard a vessel bound for the small continent and, after incapacitating a guard, managed to avoid detection for the duration of the trip.   After much study, Embassy was excited to find out that Tria was a hive like some of them! They discovered an ancient Trian space suit and subsequently moved into it, making it home. Settled in their new habitat, Embassy could finally begin flying their spacebound world towards the object of their curiousity, the planet below. With much excitment, they began their descent only to be surprised by a violent explosion as one of Tria's planetary defense rings sliced cleanly through the core of the station and ripped the structure into dozens of pieces.   After the ship had moored at port in Newbury, Terrance was working out how best to get off the ship when suddenly flaming hulks of debris began raining down from the clear skies above him. Most splashed impressively, but harmlessly, into the ocean behind him with one exception: an apparent space station command center which careened into the docks just a hundred meters away from his vessel. In the aftermath of the impact, the docks were destroyed, buildings were on fire, and longshorers ran amok trying to react to this new reality. A perfect envrionment to sneak away undetected and Terrence didn't waste it.   Theo, in trying to build up a reputation for himself, had made a few friends down by the docks hoping they might be able to have use of his talents or, more importantly, spread word of them to others and maybe speed up his departure date! He was just heading down to visit these friends when the debris shower began and witnessed the impact at the port. Rushing to the scene with ForWhom in tow, Theo quickly set his mechanical compatriot to work dousing the fires that had engulfed the debris, a warehouse and some of the administrative buildings.   Embassy had survived the crash with most of them intact and accounted for but unfortunately discovered that their habitat, Darren, was pinned under some of the flaming wreckage. Horrified that they had crashed their ship into the Tria hive and hoped that they hadn't harmed it too much. Eventually the flames subsided and a large figure strode over to them.   Theo had started investigating the crash site and couldn't believe his luck when he found a vintage Trian space suit amongst the debris! Excavating it from the wreckage hoping to fix it up as a pet project, he was soon surprised to find that the suit was actually home to a Euso hive. Fortunately, the two could communicate using a trade language common to the region and Theo offered to repair the Euso's suit and possibly even upgrade it in the future. Embassy was grateful to learn that non-Euso could be altruistic too, just like them, and pledged to help fix the Trian hive that they had damaged with the crash.   Running away from the sirens of emergency vehicles arriving on scene, Terrance skirted past the burning buildings where he noticed a strange mechanical device whizzing around putting out the flames. Intrigued by the new technology and eager to start preparing a report for the Regional Secretary, Terrance slipped into an extinguished part of the building and began observing the fascinating construct.   Having searched the crash site, Theo returned with Embassy in tow to check on ForWhom and was suprised to find a Feln lurking in the shadows watching his little robot work. After an interesting set of introductions, Theo was pleased to learn that the giant cat-man seemed to be very interested in his work! Eager to discuss more and with the fires pretty much put out, Theo invited the newcomer to discuss his robotics work further over a meal and the trio made their way away from the damaged port as emergency personnel took over and, much to Theo's chagrin the next day, just before the reports arrived on scene to document the tragedy at the docks and any heroes of the hour.
