Malaise' Wall (Mal-ay-z)
Malaise' Wall was erected supernaturally following the execution of Malaise' the Fruitful. After Malaise was killed, the wall suddenly appeared out of nowhere, surrounding the entirety of the Torpor Aristocracy, and even rising out of the sea to trace the whole boarder of the nation. It is a jagged construction made of an unbreakable black stone that rises thousands of feet straight into the air. Even from the highest peaks in Torpor, one cannot see over the top of the wall. The wall cannot be phased through or flown over either, and attempts to do so have found that flying up the wall appears to warp reality around the would be escapee, making it as if the wall is growing higher and higher to continue blocking their flight.
The wall is largely to blame for the dire economic situation of the Torpor Aristocracy, as its presence alone ends any hope of international trade and casts heavy shade over most of the land for most of the day. Nights, therefore, are unnaturally long in Torpor, making crops difficult to grow. Scholars in the Aristocracy have come to call Malaise' Wall one of the infamous Plagues of Torpor that ravage the land.
