Sorcerous Sundries

Sorcerous Sundries is a magic shop in Baldur's Gate. It is located on Stormshore Street in the Heapside district.   The shop is a tall, round building that is easily recognizable amid its surroundings. Its domed roof appears as if it were made entirely of multi-colored stained glass. While it is actually supported by stone archways, this is indiscernible from the exterior. When light enters through the roof it shines through the inside of the shop as a rainbow.   The ground floor of the shop, the only area in which patrons are permitted, is decorated with opulent furniture, rugs and silk curtains. Many of these are inscribed with arcane symbols that, according to the Sundries' sign, offer protection to its patrons.   Sometime during the 15th century DR, Rivalen Blackhand re-founded the store as a shop cater to spellcasters, specializing in Material components. However, he denies having magic items for sale and outright refuses to sell spell scrolls.
