Early Life
Yorick grew up in a small fishing village on the edge of capital of the Kingdom of Eldrida. He could never find acceptance among his peers, and he eventually learned that he could see the souls of the dead. While at first he was scared of these spirits, he eventually realized that they were just lost and did not want to hurt him. They wanted to find their way to the outter planes, and Yorick helped guide them there. While Yorick was happy to guide them, it was a bittersweet task, as he liked talking to these souls and helping one reach the beyond meant losing a friend.Foefire
Tales of Yorick's visions spread and caught the attention of a small religious order worshipping vanadon necroth. They inducted Yorick into their ranks and taught him many things. Despite being part of the order, Yorick found himself alone again, shunned by the other monks because he could easily see what they had spent their entire lives trying to understand. With the impending rebellion, the order closed its doors, and the acolytes sought refuge in the old building. The curse, unleashed by their king, wiped them away, and Yorick, alongside the acolytes, lost consciousness.
When he awoke, Yorick had been physically changed, and the capital had been cleansed of all life. Due to the curse, Yorick was trapped between life and Death. He had guided so many souls, yet he was trapped in this domain of dread. But thanks to his power, his soul was not corrupted, and unlike the other Ghost of the domain, Yorick's spirit is still free minded.
In his grief, he talked to the souls surrounding him. They gravitated to his word, and Yorick realized that he could control them. Determined to free the souls in the Foefire Domain of Dread, Yorick decided to use these powers to end the curse.
