Government
The Threadcutters have no lasting ruler. Chiefs rise through noise, tricks, and brute numbers, then fall as quickly as they came. Authority is fleeting. However, the Faevlins of the tribe follow the order of one creature if that creature desire to control them:
Endelyn Moongrave.
Military
The tribe fights with swarms. They strike in tangled waves, overwhelm with sheer numbers, and fight side by side with spiders. Ambushes, snares, and sudden rushes are their favored weapons.
Culture
The Threadcutters thrive on disorder. They seek to break the calm of settled folk, not always with bloodshed, but always with chaos. A raid might be a prank turned deadly or a swarm that leaves a town in panic without striking a blow.
Mounts and pets
Giatn spiders, huge creatures that can be found all over the planes, are particularly common in the
Murkendraw and in other forest of the feywild. They are sometimes tamed and used as mount for the faevlins.
History
Fey Pact
Faevlins, goblins who dared to break a pact with the fey, now bear the burden of their treachery with upside-down heads and bodies tinted in a peculiar shade of mint green. During a tumultuous era of conflict, the goblins cunningly offered their aid to the
Summer Court in exchange for newfound power. However, when they thought themselves unobserved, they callously reneged on their agreement, foolishly believing they could escape the consequences. Fate took a twisted turn when the battle shifted, pitting the goblins against the hags alone. Seizing the opportunity, the cunning hags offered a tantalizing proposition, fully aware that the goblins' betrayal would invoke a curse, effectively severing their ties with the summer court. Tempted by the hags' promises, the goblins succumbed to their deceit, unaware of the dire consequences that awaited them. As a result, they find themselves cursed and banished from the fey realm, forced to dwell once again in the material plane.
Descendant of the Faevlins, whose body are still twisted by the curse, returned to the feywild, to the murkendraw to serves the crone Endelyn Moongrave, hoping for the curse to be entierly removed. Those Faevlin regrouped in the murkendraw, forming a small tribe, the threadcutters tribe.
