Sea of tranquility

The Sea of tranquility is a body of water located in the region of Green Earth, to the north of the Devil's Wood. It gets its name from its calm and serene water.   The region around the Sea of Tranquility is dotted with small fishing villages and settlements, and the water is teeming with a variety of fish, making it an important source of food for the local population.   Despite its tranquil appearance, the dark waters of the Sea of Tranquility conceal numerous secrets. Most of these dangers lurk in the abyss's deepest reaches, seldom bothering sailors. Among these perils lies an aboleth whose lair is nestled deep within the underdark cave system of the Sea of Tranquility. This complex network of caves extends all the way beneath Hillfar. Influence by the aboleth's presence, these caves are saturated with Purple Isana and its haze. The local monsters have fallen under the aboleth's control, becoming mindless pawns in its sinister machinations.   Gnomes regularly launch mining expeditions into these caves, hoping to collect Purple Isana to fuel their experiments.
