Nighthold

The Nighthold is a vast palace complex and the center of government in the fey city of Aechivia. It stands as a testament to the progress and achievements of the Summer Court civilization. Today, it is the largest structure in the Summer court, and one of the grandest in all the Feywild. Nighthold largest tower fell in a fight in 1135 AD.   For the vast majority of the Summer Court history since the War of the Ancients, the Nighthold has served as the seat of power.  

History

In 1135 AD, Creyola Nepomuk, a Tiefling part of an adventuring group managed a deal with the two queens of the summer court, she would become their champion in exchange for their protection from a curse bestowed upon her. However, the fey later asked the impossible from Nep, to betray her party, and because she refused, the curse came back.   Angered by what she perceived as a betrayal, Nep came back to the queens to confront them. In a mighty showdown, she fought the queens, throwing an entire necklace of fireballs inside the main hall, this caused it to collapse, and the entire nighthold to be partially shattered by the fight as Nep killed the Archfey.
