History
Childhood
As the youngest son of the aristocratic family of blank based in
Galena, a family known for its wine, Florizan studied music, poetry, and dance from an early age. When he was 10 years old, his family was overthrown by the Soliva family; Florizan was the only survivor. Smuggled out of the manor by his music teacher, he was given a new identity and raised in a traveling circus, where he learned bardic
Magic. He gained a reputation as a great actor.
Pseudodragon
Florizan Blank was hoping to track down the hobgoblin that raided the nearby village, but he wasn't a ranger and the trail he'd followed this far seemed to have run its course. The bard knelt to look closer at the patches of dirt and trees nearby, to see if he could spot more footprints, and that's when something else caught his eye-dusky crimson scales, glittering dark eyes, and bat-like wings stretching out before him. It was a dragon... with a body no bigger than his backpack?
Hello there, friend
Florizan said, laying on a bit of his legendary bardic charm.
Are these your woods I wander through?
The pseudodragon tilted his head inquisitively, chirping out a cautious reply. Florizan could feel a thrum of curiosity emanating from the tiny beast. Cautiously, he pulled out the last of his dried rations. The creature was too wary to take it from his hand, so Florizan tossed the food in the air, laughing as the pseudodragon spun to catch the morsel mid-flight.
clever and charming!
he exclaimed
No wonder wizards are so fascinated by your kind
An idea flashed in Florizan's mind. Spellcasters prized pseudodragons, and he needed a favor from one-a way to remove a curse from his friend who was bitten by a werewolf a few weeks ago. Florizan had no guarantee he could tame this creature, however, and the attempt would disrupt his search for the hobgoblins.
