Dinosaurs

Toresta is located on the Monteplane Peninsula, which is part of the continent of Turusk. While there are many species of mammals and birds on Turusk, the most prominent class of animals are the dinosaurs. Modern naturalists, including those who specialize in the arcane, trace the lineage of the dinosaur back to the same origins as the draconic species. Like many species in nature, those who live too close to Strong or Titanic leylines, which are numerous in Turusk, can sometimes exhibit magical mutations. Such mutations might affect individuals or closely related groups of the species.

There are many hundreds of species. Many are present in a multitude of environments, others only in specific areas. The area just to the north of the Dividing Wall is grasslands, and in this plains/scrubland environment the following species are present.

• Big Al (Allosaurus) CR4 MCR4 Carnivorous .

• Carnotaurus CR4, MCR4 Carnivorous

• Centrosaurus CR3 MCR 4 Herbivore Herd Animal. Often hunted for food by intrepid adventurers and wagon train sulters.

• Dilophosaurus CR3 MCR4 Carnivorous

• Erythrosuchus CR8 MCR 9 Carnivorous

• Hatzegopteryx CR14 MCR18 Flying Carnivorous

• Kentrosaurus CR3 MCR3 Herbivore Herd Animal. Sometimes hunted for food.

• Meglasaurus CR4 MCR5 Carnivorous.

• Ociraptor CR1 MCR1 Carnivorous

• Uthahraptor CR4 MCR4 Carnivorous
