Birds of prey, or birds of paradise?
Once the proud Kenn people, the fallen kenku are what remains of this once great dynasty. The hubris of the Kenku's ancestors have caused much of the kenku's current suffering. The curses, or rather removal of the boons from Aavalus took the form of their true voices sealed with their past patron, and their wingless feathered forms. The kenku have lived brutal lives sense then, and have had to move to the edges of society to stay afloat. Though they now can compensate for their short comings through evolution, and various practices, they still long to sore through the air once again like their old Aviani ancestors.
With the rise of the new Aviani empire, Avia, the Kenku have been welcomed back into the fold by the Heroc peoples, mush to the dismay of the Aarakocra. However not even the Aarakocra can deny that the Kenku's natural and learned talents are extremely valuable, and thus they are still full members of the rising Aviani alliance.

Two main types of Kenku exist on tor, though functionally the same, Kenku in tropical climates appear very different to Kenkus around the rest of the world. Tropical Kenku resemble parrots, and are very colorful as apposed to the mostly corvidae looking type of Kenku found in most other climates. As such, beauty ideals very greatly between these two groups.
Corvidae Kenku - Corvidae Kenku are fascinated with, in the physical department, jewels, shiny feathers, and other forms of wealth or visual superiority. When looking at mental beauty, these Kenku seek out Intelligence, cunning, and motivated individuals. Corvidae Kenku generally resemble bipedal crows in the shape of a humanoid, they lack any wings, and have black feathered bodies, except for around their hands and feet, where rough bluish grey skin wraps around 4 fingers as their hands, and 3 front toes, and 1 back toe for their feet. Their eyes can range in a variety of colors, as well as some feathers on their face, however this is uncommon, and most just host black feathers. Finally, Corvidae Kenku have long black beaks that push out from their faces.
Parrotine Kenku - In strong contrast however, Parrotine Kenku seek out beauty above all else, What they view as beautiful is vibrant color, exited or fast paced people, and the songs or dance of experts artists. Parrotine Kenku generally resemble bipedal Parrots in the shape of a humanoid, they lack any wings, and have Vibrant, multicolored feathered bodies, except for around their hands and feet, where rough black skin wraps around 4 fingers as their hands, and 3 front toes, and 1 back toe for their feet. As opposed to their lanky, cousins, Parrotine Kenku are larger, and more plump, or curvy in body shape. They have black and white eyes, and black downward curving beaks, with some having white under sections on their beaks.
