Avraks is a well travelled merchant, first travelling with his father over the Riverlands, and later splitting off to travel the Islands. In his travels, he met many travelers near the Pillars, and realized that a trade point in this area would be quite profitable. With some assistance from other merchants, Pillars Shade slowly grew, and has attracted many travelers that wish to spend the night within it's walls. Not long after did Avraks set up residence in the trade point to do business in a more relaxed way.
