Grimm's Medical
Purpose / Function
Grimm's Medical facilities are actually a string of facilities spread in major cities throughout both The Continent and The High Seas Archipelago and are situated near their factories and mines. They provide free medical treatments and are designed to put workers back on their feet as fast as possible, and thus are not inclined to serve others seeking aid.
While not an official rule of Grimms it is severely punished when Medical facilities become unable to keep workers healed and uninjured. Thus the likelihood of filling the patience beds with other people is quite low.
Alterations
This specific medical facility which popped up during the Exploration Era was known for taking advantage of the new exotic plants and creatures to become a experimental treatment facility as well.
The medical site has become a recent hotbed with the local Earth Genasi who also seek aiding in emergency medical treatment. Due to the placement right outside the local mines after having bought out a local healers hut, the Earth Genasi don't have access to quick medical treatment anymore and must take a time consuming trip through lower Gaken to seek aid.
Architecture
Typically seen in any town due to the white makeup of the building they are known for their simple marble structure with the typical Grimm flair of a statue showing the work done in the building. In this case it's several dwarves doctors healing an injured miner.
Due to the nearby Jade mines the statue is a beautiful mix of marble with jade inlays.
History
This medical facility was founded in the early period of the Exploration Era when Drake D'Awana himself showed up to inspect the mines. It is said he chose the most local healing site and offered 5x the amount it was worth of his own gold to the Earth Genasi and told his subordinates to begin construction immediately as the site would soon become a very important mine.
