Queen Elizabeth Usher of Bryol wed the Badgerking Godric I on the 1st of Midsummer, New Year 6413, uniting the once-warring kingdoms of Bryol and Bestane.
Triggered initially by the coronation of Queen Marie of Aerluen, the Women's war was a series of conflicts fought over the course of nearly a hundred years across Nordradania and the Marches, until they ended with the defeat of the Heresiarch in 6845. The Women's War saw the start of a progress towards equality for women, the birth of gender-entailed estates, major changes in property law, and fundamental alterations in inheritance.
With the integration of two of the oldest and most powerful Nordradanic kingdoms with the Crown of Aerluen, High Queen Marie I declared the creation of a new Nordradanic Union, creating the first unified state in Nordradania since the Retreat of the Reymal Empire.
Materialist conception views this as NU exerting its control over the seat. Leads to the schism with Norther rite Kolism.
After the death of High Queen Marie I, the lands of Bestane and Bryol passed to her second son, Badgerlord Anthony I and his descendants as a powerful nominal vassal to Aerluen.
