Requirements
A Mystic Prelate must have previously served as Archbishop Arcane, but have retired from that position.
Appointment
A retiring Archbishop Arcane is installed as a Mystic Prelate immediately before transferring the office of Archbishop.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Mystic Prelate is a lifetime position intended to encourage further divine research. Thus, members of the Church of this rank are difficult to expel, and attempts to do so are rare. Only the worst of heresies or outright apostasy constitutes grounds for removal.
