Ashvale Slide

Geography

The Ashvale slide is a steep slope covered in slippery volcanic cinders on the eastern end of the Ramadûn Vale. Unlike most of the Vales of Lorane , the Ramadûn Vale passes through to the far side of the Ash Mountains , where the Ashvale slide connects the vale to the Grey Waste below. It descends for roughly one and a half thousand yards before reaching the waste below.

History

The Ashvale slide has been used historically as a method for the Lord of the Ramadûn Vale to dispose of his enemies, banishing them to a land of certain death. Criminals and others so sentenced would be pushed down the cliff. Climbing the slide is considered a near-impossible task, though it was famously accomplished by the late Lord Osir Ramadûn , who was pushed by traitors to the vale.
