Leatherhead's Dock house
A dock house located on Garbage Beach that Leatherhead call's home.
Architecture
The building is a rustic shake sat raised from the ground and attached to a long dock that goes into the water. The house is small but has multiple floors and a cupola coming out from the top. There are multiple layers of dock that can be accessed through stairs and ladders, but are currently cluttered with old storage crates and barrels.
The interior contains a large living room with a kitchenet in the corner and fire place in the center of the front wall. There's the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The rooms are decorated in a nautical theme, with blue hues, stripes, and ocean décor. There is an old anchor sitting above the fireplace as well as a picture of the previous owner. Almost all of the original furtnature was left behind when the structure was abandoned.
Alterations
Upon Leatherhead moving in, the building has gotten a fresh coat of paint and had several issues with its structural integrity fixed. It also had to be completely rewired in order to host the electronics that would be installed in the building. In the main room he had set up a place to run his computer lab.History
Not much is known about the history of the building other than it used to belong to the old harbor master before he passed away. Many signs point to the structure being built sometime in the 50's, and being abandoned around the same time tourists stopped coming to the beach.
