Scarlet Tower
“Constructed by the Tyrant King, Richard II, the Scarlet Tower is one of the most secure prisons in Tinir proper, and the only one known to successfully hold Creatives.” - Explorer’s Guide to Tinir, Overworld edition
Purpose / Function
High-Security Prison
Alterations
The base structure of the prison has been largely unchanged since construction aside from general modernization. After the fall of Richard the Tyrant, the deepest cell of the prison was completely sealed off. The most recent alteration is the addition of the Iron Colossus, a massive Iron Golem which patrols the extreme edges of the complex.
Architecture
Tower
The primary feature of the prison is its eponymous tower, which holds the Warden’s office, primary facilities, and low-risk prisoners.Primary Cell Blocks
The main cells are used to hold prisoners who show signs of repentance. Mage Cells The Mage Cells are located in the middle region of the prison, and each one has a large amount of anti-magic metal, with one cell housing the very cold iron chains once used to hold Herobrine himself.Maximum Security Block
The Max Security Cells are for those prisoners who have done unspeakable crimes, including mass murder, terrorism, and worse. They are the lowest cells in the prison, deep underground, and surrounded by moats of molten lava. There are three security checkpoints before the cells proper.Herobrine's Cell
The deepest room in the prison, this cell was made entirely of the magic-suppressing material, Cigamite. It was designed by Richard II to hold Herobrine specifically so the Tyrant King could taunt him endlessly. Fortunately the cell was never used, and following news of his death, the warden at the time used the Seal of Ses'ser-a powerful Earth spell-to fill the room with obsidian before relocating the chains to the Mage block.History
