How Växenri Works

  Stage 1, the host will inhale the toxic spores for a period of time- this can be anywhere from a thirty seconds to an hour. These spores can be inhaled either from the plants, an open wound or breathing in someone's breath. Once the Toxins have been inhaled, they will enter the bloodstream.   Stage 2, anywhere from a week to a month after the spores have entered the bloodstream, the spores will begin to micro-clot. Once a clot has developed, the clot will then root itself into a point in a vein close the the bone and skin. The micro-clot will then root into place and begin growing into a mycelium. Once the mycelium developes, mushrooms will start growing. These mushrooms will grow out of the bloodstream and to the surface. In every host there will be anywhere from four to ten mycelia. The mycelia typically only have four mushrooms each.   Stage 3, once mushrooms have begun sprouting, the myceluim will start becoming parasitic. This is the point where the damage done will start to be ireverasble. The myceluim will start making the host halucinate.   Stage 4, the mycelium will put the host to sleep and begin eating the host as it slowly looses its mind to the nightmares.             If for any reason you remove one of these plants, the toxins in your blood will release into the air and continue the spread of these toxins. These plants can cut off flow to limbs in extreme situations. These plants cannot grow from your organs as they need blood as fuel. The plants don't grow from your mouth as they are not developed to deal with being there. The roots of the plants can wrap around the bone, this may cause it to break in some cases.    The virus relies on warm temperatures and blood to help keep it alive. Meaning it won't survive cold climates during the winter. It can dispose of the host quickly or slowly, typically the virus takes its time to spread. The way the virus spreads is when you inhale the toxins, the spores develop in your lungs and spread through your bloodstream, they crack the skin and root into the host. The roots are extremely painful when they grow. The roots do not block the blood flow, instead they sap into the veins. A sign that a plant will sprout from your skin is bruising and pain in an area. The plants typically grow from where veins are closest to the surface, such as wrists, ankles, neck, upper right chest, etc.     The disease made Fagerfolk go extinct, and affected: Alven, Facerni, Håzla, myldrit and tylwyth. Yatoshino yua were not affected since they lived near the equator, pcht were not affected since they live in water, Metomer  were the only immune speacies.
