Facerni (faseɾni)

Origin

facerni are of the dead petals, they arent ment to consume of what they are made, they dance with the roses, the trees and the shrubs, with Her and Her kin, Their souls connected to the moss, the stones and the leaves, She gave them their life to protect her kin from the beasts, They dance in the moonlights amongst the stars and the sky, She gave them life so they cant lie, They talk to the bark, the grass, the plants, They live amongst the wind and its soul and its heart, She made them to protect, She made them to care, She made them to beutiful, She made them from dipair, They are Hers and She is theirs, For She made them and they protect Her, They are one.

That poem was created in Anyela, Xeshia in the year -1249. the poem tells of how Facerni were created by the goddess Hinethldr from the Four Souls religion. while this poem has nothing scientific to back it up, it does make a good poem. many agree with that statment as it is one of the most popular poems in Threa. The poem is also quite a large part of the Four Souls religion, as it tells how Hinethldr's creations were being destroyed, so she created something out of fallen plants to protect them -the protectors being facerni. The earliest recordings of facerni date back to the year -1 328 in both Shyxia and Tzember. many doubt that it was facerni, although more evidence from later dates proves that it definatly was.

Tribes/comunities of Facerni

Throught history, facerni communities have never had the social construct we have-known as gender. In isolated tribes of facerni, they still do not have gender or gender roles. the rason for this is facerni lack secondary sex charectaristics. because the only thing seperating female, male and intersex facerni is genetailia, they never really had a need for gender. due to this, gender equality amongst facerni comunities was non existant. becaus etehre arent any genders to discrimiante from. there are still tribes of facerni in the thick forrests of Xeshia and Natben.

Genetics

when a female facerni and a male of any other specis have a child, the child will inheret both speacies traits. although if a male facerni and female of any othe rspecies have a child, they will only be one or the other speacies.

facerni are one of the more easily regonisable species since they have markings called facerniiukan. the marks are useally spots or splotches. you can find these marks on the nech, shoulders, waiste, hips, outer thighs, back, face(cheecks, nose & forehead), outer arms and feet. as well as facerniiukan, otehr ways to identify if one is a facerni include:

inebility to lie

Facernis lives are tied to nature, and so they cannot lie. for when trees speak to another, never do they lie. an old myth states that facerni were created to be guardiens of nature when Nature could no longer take care of herself. the myth also states that facerni were first created from dead and dried flower petals

carnivoures diet

facernis digestive system is build soley for consuming meat. although they can digest some plant based food, in no means can they survive from simply eating plants and requre at the minimum of a 50% of their diet to be produced by animals- weather that be dairy, eggs, meat and other animal products. the old myth about facerni sates that "facerni are of the dead petals, they arent ment to consume of what they are made"

teeth

its known that many animals have teeth, although facerni have facinating teeth. many facerni have as you call them 'fangs', although they can also be the bottom set of canines that are enlongated. the teeth of facerni are also sharper and they have three sets during their life.

magical aura

The only leithia that facerni posses is that of Communication- although the communication is only with trees and otehr large plants. The unique aura does not actaully come from the leithia they porsses, but instead t their ties with nature. The aura is not similar to any other magical aura though, its more nature then the abilaty to control nature. its quite a dificult thing to describe, although if i were to i would say "its like sitting in a room filled with potted pants and fireflies, a large frosted window lights up the room and its cream walls as well as the hanging died flowers"

no secondary sex charectaristics

Facerni are unique in a way that none of them have secondary sex charectaristics such as facial hair, breasts, a visible addams apple etc. the only diference between male, female, and intersex faceni is their genetailia.
