First King of Polsk
First King of Polsk
Boleslaw was a human of Polski ethnicity from the Zaslawski tribe who conquered and assimilated the other Polski tribes. After conquering the other tribes through both military and diplomatic means, he declared himself as Boleslaw I, the first king of the brand new Kingdom of Polsk.
To achieve stability and appease the most powerful conquered tribes, Boleslaw divided the kingdom into thirteen voivodes with twelve of them being ruled by those chiefs that pledged loyalty him.
Boleslaw wanted to ensure that his kingdom lasted after his death, so after he achieved stability in the kingdom, he began teaching his first-born son Bozimir to rule. This started the tradition of the first-born son being the heir to the Polski crown.
