Hyperion Federation eradicates the Xamoid hivemind species using Superstring - Class Subspatial Starships. This did have political ramifications, however. All the other factions became terrified at the notion that the HF managed to destroy a genuine threat to their galaxy so easily. Furthermore, the stars that the Xamoid once occupied have been reduced to nothingnes or black holes. Any species that the Xamoid consumed can no longe rbe recovered.
