Zokrae
Zokrae is a large continent and Zatenheim ethnicity found on Psi Kaus IV, located near the planetary north pole.
Because of its position near a pole, the atmosphere temperature around Zokrae is significantly colder. However, it is still suited to zatenheim life despite this, the zokrae have adapted to the lower temperature with skin that retains heat more effectively and a slightly wider build (which can also give them more strength). Despite the cold, the people of zokrae will typically play various sports more frequently. This is arguably to help them keep warm, but there is certainly a cultural aspect to this too. The zokrae have many stadiums built to play sports in, and their teams are often sent on tours worldwide to participate in global sporting competitions, but the hotter temperatures of the rest of the planet can hamper their endurance. They sometimes train in these areas for this reason.
Due to the low amount of resoruces obtainable from their very cold continent, they are forced to expand into nearby territories. As such, every individual can obtain weapons and be conscripted. Every individual recieves military training but not nessessarily military service, to make the process of training them properly after conscription easier and quicker. This allows them to hold a significant military for expanding, so now they have a very wide territory that is not as useful as the rest of the planets land mass. Despite this its still a lava planet, so while many resources are still present, it is not as rich as hotter landmasses. Due to this very cheap real estate, it is often inexpensive to build large projects in Zokrae.
In more modern times, the individual cultures of the world have partially merged into each other and all of Psi Kaus IV are now considered allies under the HF. The land they used now holds a large amount of infrastructure due to being conveniently located on the Zatenheim homeworld.
Zokrayan zikrats are often larger and features heat insulative skin. They often have a more blue skin colour despite the very hot conditions of their world and the star which emits little visible light (mainly UV radiation). The blue colouration makes them quite easy to identify from a distance.
