T.S. Vurvu Interstellar

A UAC bioship of the very durable Arkalal - Class Cruiser.

T.S. Vurvu Interstellar was created during one of the first wars between the HF and other intergalactic entities that happened after the UAC joined the HF. The Arkalal - class was quite new at the time, and was designed for a different doctrine - as the scale armour that it would have would be much stronger than any other biological material known at the time, being able to rival TGX Composite in sheer strength. However, it would be slower due to its mass. The bioship still survives to this day and remains in operational service.

Seeing the success of T.S. Irgas Unparalleled, T.S. Vurvu Interstellar was constructed with a somewhat animal-like intelligence, before the crew allowed it to obtain sentience. This was quite unlike other bioships, which were to be more 'vehicle-like', so that the HF military would not have to cure any trauma obtained through war, as those resources were better spent on their people, as they saw it.

The bioship and it's crew have formed very close friendships, which helped to improve morale. Though subject to more trauma, as the crew could perceive what the bioship felt and saw, the crew and ship understood each other very well and would do their best to help each other. T.S. Vurvu Interstellar would have many similarities to the ship it was inspired by, such as feeling very upset when a crew member would die within its body, and having a tradition of remembering those who were killed. However, this would happen less frequently as the Arkalal - Class Cruiser is armoured unlike the Zar - Class Destroyer. The crew understood the limitations of their bioship very well, as did the bioship itself, allowing the bioship to take initiative in battle sometimes, especially in case of uncrewed stations (usually crew death). Everyone including the ship is careful to not expose the ship to much fire beyond what they understand the ship can withstand already.
