Rairese

Ethnicity of Zikrat that began on the Rarebb continent of Raira. 

The rairese was one of the industrial era superpowers of the primitive world before the Zikrat Scientific Citizenry space age. They would go on to colonise large fractions of the planet, establishing their own power around many other ethnicities around the planet, using large ships to carry a large amount of material across the globe, as well as giving them a significant military. This made them highly feared by many, and some of that fear remains today. Sometimes they are discriminated, but this is somewhat rare. The Rairese normally have a lighter, more blue shade of skin which is one of the primary ways to identify them. Their accent was also notoriously fairly difficult for other nationalities to understand, often sounding fairly high pitched. Some found this humorous as well.

They had a very adventurous culture, and many would bring back foods from other corners of the globe back to Raira. This gave them quite a diverse diet and virtually anything available across the globe could be used in their cuisine. They would very often go exploring, with cave diving being a significant tourist attraction in many places. This adventurous nature is partially what has driven their colonisation of the globe and several of their behaviors. As children, they are often taught to step outside of their comfort zone. Their earliest explorers who would map out the globe were often taught in schools and often still are to this day. 

The Rairese were also some of the first to build spacecraft and reach space, and used their global influence for a large amount of materials to build a significant fraction of the planet's Repositories (read the article for ZSC), though nationality turned out to mean little during the real events of the Repository age, where these megastructures struggled for their own survival. This made them appear like a key player in the technological growth of the planet but in reality they did not actively push the boundaries of technology. Instead, they used their surplus of resources to do many things that other cultures could not easily do. Due to propaganda and influence, this fact never became very widely known until the dawn of the Repository age. Now, no individuals of this ethnicity, or even in biological form in general, exist. They actively wanted to explore other repositories, which was impossible. Now, the Rarese culture is dead because of the Repositories, ironically.

There was also an ancient saying: "It is always day in Raira.", meaning the power of this nation could reach globally. Essentially, their reach went so far that it was always day in at least one of these nations colonised by the Rairese. This saying was instilled by the government to spread influence further, as a method of propaganda. Some global events also happened in these cultures, such as sporting events that would be streamed worldwide.
