A site that was found to have a large precursor artifact located in the Eta Nealus galaxy which is located roughly infraplanar of the Fortrais Galaxy Cluster center.

The artifact is a large precursor construct. Some factions have tried to study it, but there is a significant Starlance Family located there which makes it impossible to reach without a significant military force. However, this takes a lot of resources to deploy but the major factions have larger priorities, such as entire precursor Dyson Spheres which are relatively common in Arcturus. Attempts were made to take it, but this was before the full strength of the Starlance family was known. Several factions found out after suffering heavy casualties in battle with them. It is now estimated there are several thousand there, of many different sizes. It would take a significant military force to repel them. The Starlance families cannot reach the surface of the planet so they know very little about it either. They have tried sending some drones to the surface but each attempt has resulted in failure and all of the drones have crashed into the surface for different reasons. From the surface, the planet's surface can resemble a large grid especially over the oceans. The grid shape is designed to optimise water flow and improve its cooling at the surface, so a significant fraction of the surface is covered in this ocean. There are large continents but the rain is still significant on the continents. On the continents, many different colours can be seen due to lights of various different colours, with unknown purpose. The starlance cannot see the surface much more accurately than this. The colour can also shift from the slight variations in the construction material. The colour shifting is very slight but enough for some observant people to notice.

No one currently alive other than the Starlance know this but the artifact is a Cyber Sphere world. These types of planets are extremely rare, the only known cyber sphere outside of the Arcturus unreachable cluster is Binary Targos. This planet has a significant amount of rain as it constantly cycles water through its systems to be cooled on the outside. The planet releases very hot water as vapor. This rain would present a hazard to anyone on the planet because it is very powerful. The planet has a number of large oceans designed to cool down the hot water but sufficiently cooled water is pumped back to the insides of the machine, presenting an immense drowning hazard for anyone who might be in the oceans. Any ships in the water would also need to take many precautions as well...

The interior of the cyber sphere is essentially a massive collection of computing systems which can easily get very hot and requires a significant water flow to function. The world also has various support systems such as repair robots which also help it to continue functioning. Back when this cyber sphere was still a Cynar, it would complete mostly computational tasks, often helping other cynar with coordination or making very large calculations because doing that with the cynar was deemed more efficient than building significant data centers.
