Nullifier

A type of sniper rifle used and built by the Karnol Caretakers.   The Nullifier is built with a very long range role, often being fired from 10s of kilometers. Such obscene range is not typically achievable accurately by organics, so The Caretakers are most commonly seen with them.   The weapon is also a railgun. Due to this, it requires a highly intense power source to fire properly, which can complicate logistical efforts. As such, rounds from the sniper rifle travel at very high velocity, closing the distance in mere seconds. The rounds travel at around 7 km/s, which is about mach 20. This allows the person to fire without being detected until well after the bullet impacts the target.   The rounds are also highly powerful. Filled with a very advanced form of explosive chemical that can sometimes obliterate the target's body entirely. The gagarag sometimes protest about the cruelty of the weapon, but the caretakers respond by pointing out the target then suffers a much more rapid death and is put out of their misery extremely quickly.   The weapon also needs to withstand extreme stresses of making the bullet achieve such massive velocity. The barrel is constructed to be thick, and the railgun rails are comprised of a very strong, but expensive material and also constructed to be large.
