Narlas III
The third planet of the Narlas System, the home system of the Ikagohoh Clan.
Narlas III is a fairly hot planet with a surface temperature of roughly 220°C on average. Though hot, there are slightly more resources on this planet compared to the average planet, so the Ikagohoh clan has set up mining structures on the world. There are a number of volcanoes on the world where the ikagohoh can harvest lava and separate it into its base materials, making mining quit easy but at the cost of significant danger. Indeed, a number of mining platforms were destroyed in volcano eruptions, natural or accidentally caused. Though the Ikagohoh have managed to test this technology more now, they remain fairly paranoid of working on this type of mining platform, which will surely be deployed to Narlas II which has even more volcanoes eventually. Narlas I is almost entirely comprised of lava and as such requires its own design of mining rig. Meanwhile, Narlas III also has an asteroid ring which allows them to mine more safely in space by extracting material from asteroids while also putting large defence platforms in orbit and hide them more easily by disguising them as asteroids. In fact, they manufacture ammunition here so that this planet can also act as a fortress world if the Narlas system comes under attack by alien forces such as the Alti Dominion.
Narlas III has no oceans and the entire surface of the planet is covered in rocks, though the poles of this world are colder than the equator. The poles are still far too hot to support any Ikagohoh life and the atmosphere is very toxic to them as well. The poles thus have fewer volcanoes and were more safe but with fewer useful locations, so some planetary surveying teams were initially deployed here to survey various positions on the planet.
The most common natural resources on Narlas III were common metals such as iron, but a small amount of rare metals like gold could also be recovered through filtering lava and even fissile material such as uranium. This was still quite useful to the Ikagohoh Clan for a long time, as they still used nuclear fission reactors, even if it was mostly to produce various isotopes rather than to generate power, though some mining stations did indeed have fission reactors because of the sheer availability of these fissile materials. There is no habitable environment to pollute on this planet, so nuclear waste was simply removed from the mining stations into the nearby land. It just had to be transported far enough away to not cause harm to those on the mining stations and to ensure that geological events would not move it very close to any mining stations.
