Kappa Carcia III Capital City

The largest city on Kappa Carcia III.

This city is, like all the planets in the system, jointly owned by the Tranal Nomads and Sulethis Republic. As such, species of both factions are commonly seen except for the several TN species that would die in intense gravity such as the Banfranal. There are other cities on the planet designed to have no gravity.

This was one of the first cities built as those factions colonized the planet. They initially had a poor understanding of the microorganism that eats metals, which has caused more than one disaster on the partially metal dome of this city. This is also how they found out that they needed to reinforce all metal structures with concrete. It is also in this city that they launched more studies on the microorganism and determined a lot of information about it.

As the population expanded, they had to upgrade the structures which were initially bare metal one time. The colonies on all worlds in this system are still relatively new. The newer, larger structures were built and was designed with reinforced concrete from the start, designed to withstand the metal microorganism. They did manage to build a mostly self sufficient colony though as they made use of this same organism to obtain materials. Due to the abundance of life on this world they could easily obtain food. 

Culturally, the city stands as a testament to the TN's capacity for adventure. Settling on planets is an entirely new thing for them - the banfranal have not even originated near an area with any meaningful gravity. Their people sometimes leave the safety of the city to explore the planet further, bringing any safety equipment they need with them. The TN has set up an emergency service where they can move small, airborne vehicles to any location within hundreds of kilometers very quickly. These vehicles can carry several crew members, passengers and a patient entirely on its own, and arrive at a destination near its maximum range in under 10 minutes. They are experimenting with autonomous drones that are faster.
