Iragas Stormer

A leader title for the individual that leads the entire Outerworldian harkas section of the Unified Arkan Council UAC.

The title of Stormer was originally one more closely related to the military rather than politics. Over time, the title increased in prestige until it became seen as the new leader title, replacing another title long ago that is now lost to time.

This nation was a highly militaristic outerworldian nation which defended itself well from many external threats. Their subspecies of Harki were quite small, making them seen as weak despite their militaristic nature which invited many attacks, many of which were attempting to consume them. Stormers initially were meant to prove one's unbreakable resolve and sheer determination in battle to hopefully improve morale among their allies.

The Stormer has an important role as leader of these outerworldian nations. They represent the harkas species in the HF, and they are one of the members of the UAC's oligarchy with the ability to vote and propose their own bills. Like with the other harkas leaders, the Stormer is now elected democratically despite its role being changed so much and originating as a military focused role. As an outerworldian role, their leader is likely to have a slower metabolism than those of other nations and thus probably thinks slower, so they might also have assistants. 

However, as each HF star nation must elect a single unified leader to represent them in the Hyperion Federation, the UAC often holds another vote to put one of the subspecies leader into power. Sometimes, this title inherits that position usually does not. No one subspecies is overwhelmingly powerful in the UAC or able to topple all the other subspecies. Even if the spaceborne Midworldians are probably the most powerful, they would be defeated by the other areas combined.
