Iga

A renowned Harkas bioengineer who designs bioships. 

Iga is a large Innerworldian spaceborne harkas. Their body requires a lot of energy, but can also spend a lot within the brain as it is larger. Iga is almost 20m long. This makes Iga relatively smart compared to most harkas. Iga is mostly a light orange in colour with deeper red patterns. This is a rare appearance to have as a harkas, but is not unheard of. Iga's parent appeared somewhat similar, with deep red as their primary skin colour and a darker yellow as a pattern colour. The patterns on both individuals are similar. 

At a relatively young age, Iga has formed a friendship with another harkas who fought in some wars. Iga found their stories interesting and decided to design bioships as designing things is close to his passions and wanted to help other harkas with similar jobs as his friend. By getting help from these friends, Iga was able to design some bioships with superior outer and interior armour. The exoskeleton is designed to deflect bullets and the interior has several sections of 'harder' tissue that can be difficult for some rounds to penetrate. These have been used in several classes of bioship already.

Iga was skilled and passionate enough for Tarlox to contact them and invite them to become a War-Engineer. The bioships they deploy are unique, designed by Iga himself and have been used in many theaters. Iga undesrtands their capabilities and role very well and has defeated some Xalarin Council and Hyperion Empire invasions. Many other classes of harkas bioship have copied or were inspired by Iga's doctrine. Their bioships can typically take more fire due to the use of dense tissue surrounding many organs that can cause rounds to lose energy.

They are also often seen cooperating with other HF forces, both bioships and regular starships. Mechanical starships can typically take more fire than bioships, which is useful for Iga to exploit. 

Iga has personally destroyed a number of small drones. They are armed with some large weapons. Some of these drones were sent to kill Iga using large chainguns but Iga is very skilled in space warfare at evading projectiles and has managed to destroy the drones first using their biological photon cannon.

During their early childhood, Iga tried to eat a human on a EVA mission in space, who was communicating with some other spaceborne harkas. The human was promptly warned and was Teleported back inside a HF space station to safety about 24 seconds before Iga would have reached them. Iga was punished for this attempt and never tried similar again.
